Intuit PaymentNetwork in QuickBooks 2015

by Cheryl Nance on 10/26/14

Intuit has released the following statement regarding the functionality of the IPN (Intuit PaymentNetwork) within QuickBooks (see below).  While the feature is temporarily not working with the new software, a fix is schedule before the end of this year.  Only users who accept payments on a regular basis should be concerned with this problem.  There is a manual fix if you have already upgraded to QuickBooks 2015 and a link is available to assist you through the process until the service is restored.

"We are excited to announce the upcoming release of QuickBooks 2015. There are many new things you can do with QuickBooks 2015 including at-a-glance insights, improved reports, and more.

However, we wanted to let you know that the integration of Intuit PaymentNetwork is temporarily unavailable in QuickBooks 2015. If you upgrade to QuickBooks 2015, you may continue to use Intuit PaymentNetwork outside of QuickBooks to request payment, but you will need to manually add pay links to your emailed invoices and reconcile the deposits and fees. (Click here to see how.)

A fix will be available for QuickBooks 2015 Windows users by the end of this year. Therefore, if you rely heavily on Intuit PaymentNetwork, you may want to consider upgrading to QuickBooks 2015 once the fix is available. If you do not rely heavily on invoice enabled payments, we invite you to upgrade to QuickBooks 2015 as soon as you are ready."
